Study Purpose:

The development of blood tests requires the collection of clinically defined biological specimens to evaluate the specificity, sensitivity, and clinical utility of the assay. Under this collection protocol, specimens will be obtained from patients with a diagnosis of colorectal cancer/advanced adenoma or undergoing a colonoscopy and meeting the criteria outlined within this protocol. The evaluation of these collected specimens will help expedite the development of future assays. These assays could someday result in significant improvements to early detection and/or treatment of various clinical diseases, including colorectal cancer (CRC).
