The Rio Grande Valley remains in urgent need of donated plasma from individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 to treat patients in hospitals in the Rio Grande Valley who are fighting severe and life threatening COVID-19 infections.
Who can donate?
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Anyone who previously tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 via nasal swab test OR positive for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies
- Must have displayed COVID-19 symptoms and have been symptom-free for at least 28 days
*Must be symptom free for 28 days. If asymptomatic, must be 28 days since positive test
