The DHR Health Institute for Leadership Development is here to serve the development and training needs of leaders, and staff, across the DHR Health enterprise. The Institute is dedicated to leading growth, advancement and goal realization for our team – as we strive to better serve our patients, our employees and our community.

The Institute for Leadership Development is built around the centerpiece of Servant Leadership. With this philosophy, the Institute is designed to elevate service to our people and ensure continuity of this philosophy within our leadership team. We want our leaders to have a clear path forward and good leadership will help create that path. The Institute works to design, to create and to fulfill specific goals that are unique to DHR Health – all with the core tenet: For You, For Life.

Leadership development is an integral component of building and sustaining an effective healthcare enterprise. Whether working with top executives or sharpening the leadership skills among leaders, at DHR Health, we believe both efforts create a better work environment for everyone.

Leadership training

At the DHR Health Institute for Leadership Development our MISSION is to cultivate a culture of servant leadership by enhancing Engagement, Accountability, Communication and Transparency.

The Institute trains individuals across the enterprise to take ownership of their role and the tasks required of them. It trains employees to be both more efficient and greater leaders.

The role of the leader may be well-defined or loosely defined, but in the end, the goal is always the same – get the job done by leading in a respectful and professional manner, always. This requires the support and collaboration of employees at all levels of the enterprise. This is why the Institute for Leadership Development plays an integral role in the success of DHR Health.

Purpose of the Institute

The DHR Health Institute for Leadership Development brings several important benefits to the enterprise. Through its teaching sessions, the Institute helps to improve productivity, build better teams, increase employee morale, improve employee retention, promote better decision making, and train future leaders across the enterprise while aligning their management style to the Servant Leadership philosophy.
